The Acorns brand team has created and guided the design of the brand through several visual eras. For the latest 2020 rebrand, this initial exploration was done to really lean into the organic, nature driven side of Acorns, something that is unique to who the company is in the fintech space. We were tasked to lead with the concept of the parallels drawn between the growth of tree rings and one's own personal journey in both finance and life.
