Acorns
Using creativity and design to show that anyone can invest.
Over the course of my time at Acorns I’ve worked on a massive array of projects with a wonderful crew of creatives, marketers, leaders, developers, external partners and more. Using nearly every creative skill I have, I’ve helped design just about everything under the sun to help bring the brand to life and to the world. This is a very small snippet of it.
The Mighty Oak debit card
Acorns partnered with The Rock himself Dwayne Johnson on a limited edition heavy metal debit card. The goal was to create an exciting new card filled with benefits and exclusive Acorns offerings, and use one of the world’s most recognizable celebs to help start them on their journey. This was a massive campaign that included branding a new part of Acorns, and was composed of a wide range of marketing and product deliverables.

My Role:
My role was to help establish the visual design of the marketing campaign and bring it to life across the entire customer experience. This included creating a dedicated webpage, 25+ emails, custom app store listings, in-app and online advertising, and OOH print and digital that went up across New York City.

Acorns Sportsbook
Billions of dollars are lost in sports betting year, and for Superbowl LX Acorns wanted to change the conversation that it's actually better to bet on yourself. So we created Acorns Sportsbook, a "betting" site that is actually an investing site. On Superbowl day only, acorns.com turned into a faux betting site that educates and demonstrates where that bet could actually end up going. Cuz with time, what's better than a bet that's guaranteed to hit?

My Role:
I established the look and feel of the campaign, designed the hero webpage, and also a handful of social posts to help capture attention on game day.

The Acorns Pledge
Acorns is a mission driven company to it's core. And what matters most isn't just what Acorns does, it's equally what they don't and will never do. We needed to put that messaging customer facing and accessible to let them know exactly what we're not about.

My Role:
I transformed the written words of the Acorns pledge into a visual and engaging hero web page for the Acorns site, including look and feel, visual design, and animation direction.

Tax Refund Campaign
You know that great feeling when you get a tax refund instead of an IOU to Uncle Sam? Acorns wanted to capture that feeling and make it double it by matching 100 tax refunds for new customers. Because two tax refunds are indeed better than one.

My role:
I designed the look and feel of the promotion and built it out into digital ads, a landing page, app store listing, emails, and in-product visuals.
